“Really, we would prefer not to exist”.
This is what the CEO of Thread Together told me in our latest Community Chats episode. He wishes that there weren’t excess items, to later head to landfill. And that all people had access to new clothing. Unfortunately, we live in a world where we are constantly repairing the environment and healing communities that are facing these daily challenges.
Clothing is a forgotten basic human right and Thread Together are on a mission to restore dignity to those doing it tough in our communities.
Thread Together partner with incredible brands like Incu, Uniqlo, Boody, Havaianas and many more incredible retailers that donate brand new threads that would have otherwise overwhelmed landfill and make it accessible to people in need.
So what do they do? How does Thread Together solve the challenges of landfill and basic human needs & restore dignity? I chatted with Anthony Chesler, CEO of Thread Together to get an insight into what they are all about. I’m so excited to share their story with you.
