What eCommerce conferences should you attend in Australia?

Your partners are asking you to vote for them in awards. The mini foam branded footballs are being shipped in. You even had a calendar invite randomly pop in for a Gold Coast nightclub.

That’s right, it’s eCommerce event season.

If you are wondering which events to put in your calendar for 2022, here is our pick for a bit of in-person learning and networking.

Retail Global – 11-14th April 2022 (Gold Coast)

This is a four-day festival filled with eCommerce keynotes, workshops and events. It even culminates with a gala ball event at MovieWorld. Be warned: don’t drink and Superman coaster. This is a great one for everyone in eCommerce but especially those with an interest in marketplaces like eBay.

(PS. If you are coming to Retail Global, make sure you register for the Add To Cart meetup on Tuesday night – it’s free!)

Online Retailer – 20-21 July 2022 (Sydney)

A true staple of the eCommerce calendar, Online Retailer has skipped 2021 and pushed through to 2022 with speakers from Dominos, Aje and more to be announced. It is a brilliant mid-year meeting point for retail. If you’re lucky enough, head along to the Online Retail Industry Awards black-tie event. And bring your sunglasses for the day after.

iMedia Online Summit 8-10 August (Gold Coast)

A favourite of retailers who can apply and get invited to attend this conference for free. And there are some pretty special locations including Lake Taupo in New Zealand and Goa in India. This one is more of a summer camp than a conference – including some sexy supplier retailer speed dating. Put your hat in the ring for the iMedia Online Summit in August.

We hope to see you there! Just not next to us on the Superman coaster.
